How does Klate platform help my business?

Using Kubernetes is easy. Managing it is hard. Fully managed Klate platform and its integration with the underlying cloud spares you and your DevOps from pain. Hiring and training a whole team to do it all forever takes a toll on your business in terms of time and money. Your focus should be your core business. We help you do just that.

How secure is Klate?

We develop our systems with security in mind. We create all components in the internal network except the public load balancers and provide VPN if you don't have it. We always follow the least privilege principle for any kind of permissions, be it a person or a machine. As a general principle, we neither generate AWS credentials nor ask you to do it. Our Kubernetes cluster access works only from the internal network.

How will it ease our development process?

Klate platform can be made available to all developers safely without extra setup. Our simple authentication process to all clusters with proper role-based authorization makes it easier to develop a Kubernetes native culture in your organization. Developers can develop and test their application directly on the Kubernetes cluster. Production setup also has the same behavior as a developer setup which reduces friction between application development and its delivery by only following standard Kubernetes principles. It helps you achieve increased velocity in the product development lifecycle.

Can it help me bring down my cloud bills?

Yes. Using Klate, your apps are densely packed on a server with true resource requests taken into consideration without any artificial limit imposed by the cloud vendor. As a result, on average 3X apps can be packed in a single server. Moreover, with the autoscaling feature of Klate, you only run servers that can serve the current load on your apps, nothing more, nothing less.

Do I have the option to change cloud provider?

At the moment, we only support AWS for the cloud provider. However, our goal is to make Klate a cloud vendor-neutral platform. So when we launch our platform on more cloud providers, migration shouldn't be too hard.
